The creation of Puer (Pu-erh) tea is similar to the craft of wine-making. The highest quality leaves of the year are first plucked, then go through a temperature and humidity controlled oxidation process. The leaves are plucked from tea trees that are over 100 years old in Yunnan region, have been naturally aged since 2016. The taste? Vegetal, clean, sweet. It is pleasing to observe the ball unroll itself in hot water and leaves expand to their fullest shape steep after steep.
